Vladimir’s Camp is an unmarked point of interest in the Burning Springs region of Appalachia, introduced in the Fallout 76: Burning Springs update. Situated north of the Starlight Drive-In, the Camp serves as a compact environmental storytelling location centred around Vladimir Miller and his murderous persona, “Vladimir the Clown.”

During development, I owned the Level Design, Environment Art, and Narrative Design for the location. This made Vladimir’s Camp a focused yet rewarding space for development, as it required the environment to convey character, story, and threat without direct exposition.

The location was designed to guide players through a brief narrative scene through layout and environmental clues. The goal was to create a memorable point of interest that players could understand through observation and exploration, while still feeling grounded within the wider Burning Springs region.
